Traditional home of the High Elves in the western lands, the High Forest was until recently ruled by Queen Para'Naeal (Pair-ah-nay-ell) who had sealed the borders to her kingdom in an attempt to protect her people. No one, not even elves, were allowed in or out of the forest and there is little or no communication.

A few years ago the queen passed away and leadership has passed on to her daughter Gaeltrea.

Other smaller communities exist throughout the west – most in the Petarin Islands.
